Dr. Baker performed the first
catheterization in Flagler Hospital fifteen years ago. He practiced
interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and stent,
in Jacksonville, Florida for ten years before coming to St. Augustine.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Cardiology and was board
certified in Nuclear Cardiology in 1997.
He performed the first gated SPECT nuclear
stress test in the First Coast area and the first acute chest pain scan
performed at Flagler Hospital.
Dr. Baker practices Consulting, Nuclear, and Interventional Cardiology. In
the hospital, he performs heart catheterization, angioplasty, stent and
pacemakers. In the office he offers stress testing, heart and vascular
echo, pacemaker evaluation and reprogramming and comprehensive evaluation
and treatment of heart and vascular disease.
Dr Baker is currently Chief of Cardiology at
Flagler Hospital.
He is past President of the Flagler Hospital Medical Staff, Past Chief of
Staff, and Past Director of Critical Care.
Flagler hospital is located in St. Augustine, America's oldest city.
Dr. Baker's office is conveniently located on the first floor of the
hospital at the handicapped entrance, adjacent to the outpatient pharmacy

Dr. Baker is a member of the St. Johns County Medical Society and the Duval
County Medical Society.
